Our main challenge is to maintain the flavors and aromas of our regional cooking with a gourmet touch. Dishes that were and still are traditional in family homes in Argentina. Simple and traditional recipes, with a careful selection of every ingredient and the smell of homemade food. And of course, the perfect company for an excellent meal are our wines!

 

  ARGENTINEAN CUISINE  

Our cuisine evolved along with the deeper exchange between countries as a result of conquers and occupations of centuries ago, and today the globalization. Behind any dish that everyone recognize as traditional there is a history of conquerors and conquered, ingredients that have crossed oceans and mountains. What is today a national meal, was yesterday the main nourishment of an Asian tribe or the obsession of pre-Colombian Indians.

The same happens with the traditional cuisine of 1800, that had typical dishes like “puchero” and “escabeche”. Immigrants came especially from Spain and Italy, but also from Poland, France, Ireland and Germany. Jorge Luis Borges said Argentineans come from ships and the same thing happens with the roots of our cuisine. Immigrants arrived here with their language and cooking customs, which they later adapted to local possibilities.

The recipes that came centuries ago took root and mixed together so long ago that today we recognize them as ours.
  THE STAR VARIETAL WINE  

In the fall when the color of the grapevine changes from green to yellow, ocher and brown,the land rests. The grape grower gets ready the drip system and makes grafts to obtain new plants according to the needs of the vineyard.

Later, in the spring, the first tender buds appear and resist the last frosts. Then, the magical blooming starts.

In the summer the grapes reached a violet, almost black color. At that moment the harvest begins.

The harvest, fermentation and aging processes make the most prestigious wine of the region: MALBEC .

 

  COMBINING FLAVORS AND SCENERIES  

The idea of our project consists of moving the flavors of our kitchen to different sceneries, which gives like turned out an excellent combination. We offer a wide variety of options, accompanying every plate on wines especially chosen.

We cover different places of the province, organizing events and combining different types of activities, to enjoy a special lunch in a different place.

By means of our newsletter we propose activities in periodic form. We are to his disposition to organize any type of event in places of incredible beauty.

  A GIFT OF THE EARTH...  

The olive tree, indisputable protagonist of the Mediterranean agriculture, has a long history that is joined to the evolution of the men and of the cultures who - as the wheat and the vine - have been basic in the feeding of the peoples of the Mediterranean.

The quality of an olive oil is born in the field for the combination of environmental factors (climate and soil), genetic (variety of olive) and agronomic (skills of culture), and continues with the operations following the compilation up to the stiff one.

  CLOSE COOPERATION - THE IDEAL PARTNER  

The combination of plates and wines is an art much simpler than one believes. It is not a question of applying an irrevocable law, but of understanding a concept. And to achieve a perfect agreement it is not necessary to be an expert.

Close cooperation, congruity, agreement and combination are some of the words that are used to describe the relation between meals and drinks. It is not a question of a special gift but of paying attention while we eat, a sensory game in which they interact the sight, the smell, to the tact and the taste, and which can change to them to experience of the table. Only it is enough to understand that the only one in judging, for good or for evil, is one himself and to cheer up to do it.
